Thomas Ban

That's right. There is a Thomas the Tank Engine movie ban at our house. It's not because Cameron got in trouble it is simply because he is traumatized by it. There is a certain part in the movie that Thomas crashes into another train head-on and "red jelly" goes everywhere. Cameron never had problems watching it before, but now that he is older and more sensitive, he cannot handle it. The past couple times he watched it, he would run to me crying and point at the TV after the crash and the jelly spill. Today, he said he wanted to watch Thomas and just before the crash his entire body started to shake. He knew it was coming. After the crash he cried hysterically and grabbed onto me for dear life. What kind of children's movie is this? :o)

As a result, the Thomas movie is banned. Sorry Thomas......we are gonna have to ban you.

As you know, Hunter went through this phase too. I don't know what it is. He still wanted to watch it, so we would just skip that part. He is fine now, and actually laughs when it happens. Aren't kids so funny!!!

Jackson got a couple of those movies for his 2nd bday (back in Jan.). He LOVED watching them and refused to watch anything else and would throw huge fits when I turned them off. I had to ban them for a while too, but it was because we were far too addicted! He has recovered now : )
