Time Capsules

On the last day that several of my friends and I were together at college we made a memory. Our memory consisted of us crawling under the crawlspace of our dorm and leaving a legacy. We sat in one of our rooms and wrote in a notebook. We probably spent hours deciding on what to write because we are girls. We knew that people went down in the crawlspace and we wanted to share some thoughts for whoever was adventurous enough to look for them. It was fun and it was a memory.

This past week, 5 years later, our notebook was recovered. My friend works at the college we attended and it was brought to her. She shared with us that there were others that found our notebook, added to it, and left their own legacy. Some of them were other girls who lived on our floor and carried on our tradition and some guys because our dorm was recently changed into a boys dorm. What cracks me up the most is that an air conditioning guy was down there running wires, and he left a message, too!

It was fun to remember the memory. It is fun that other people made their own memories. Have you ever left a time capsule of any kind?
