Oh What A Night.............of fun and invention

We were looking for some fun tonight to keep us out of some mischief. We decided that we wanted to have a cookout. Those in attendance were: Jake, me, baby, and Lilly. See below

Next, we went to Silver Springs park to catch some fish in a lake full of frogs. We did not catch any fish....or frogs. It must have been some food at the cookout because I suddenly grew to look much more pregnant than I did earlier that day.

I have decided that I wanted to start a revolution called, "Caution: Deer Ahead!" There have been times that I have hit a deer (which Rachel handled well) and other people I know have had the same unfortunate experience. That is why, we are going to start a warning signal to make other drivers on the road aware that one or more live deer were sighted on the road and you need to take precautions. This is the signal: Just before you pass an oncoming vehicle, quickly turn your lights off and on twice. ** Now, in order for this to become a successful revolution, you all need to be a part of it and spread the word.

**Disclaimer (read quickly): I will not be held responsible if someone pulls an urban legend and turns around and attacks you for flashing them even though you are trying to save his or her life.

Eight years ago...(We hit a deer! What should we do!? We need help! What should we do!!! Is it dead!!! We hit a deer!!)...Don't even act like I freaked out. I stayed calm the whole time. You were lucky to have me with you.

I always hang out the window and make antlears with my hands on my head at the on coming cars. I find this to be a much more specific sign that there are deer in the road.

The sign of understand seems to be the middle finger, or making a face of utter bewilderment.

You know I don't freak out either when it comes to situations that have to do with cars. For instance, this Friday I was in morning traffic in Nashville when my car began smoking, I freaked out and turned off the car...luckily there was no movement going on at that moment...although a guy was inching forward and I kind of rolled back a little...and we did kind of hit, but it wasn't anything and he actually helped me get to the shell station. Oh yeah and meanwhile I am bawling like a baby with no control whatsoever...so yeah, I would say I handle car "situations" really well.
