Longest Post Ever

Just giving you fair warning about this post. You should probably allow 3 hours to view it. It has been pretty busy lately so I have a lot of goodness stored up in this one post. Are you ready for it?

Last weekend we went to the Freedom Fest that Jake and his family have gone to for years. It had been a few years since I had been there so it was good to go back. We spent the entire day there and went to church in the park with Grandpa and Grandma R. Then, went to Great G and G B's for a wonderful lunch and enjoyed Cameron's first parade. He seemed to enjoy himself kicking his legs when the firetrucks went by.
Cameron even had a badmitten lesson!
We strolled around the Freedom Fest and listened to Jake's uncle's band, who sounded really good and spent some time eating funnel cakes and drinking lemon shake-ups with Jen, Joel, and Evan and David, Jodi, and Paxson.
Paxson is getting big and we all love to hold him and give him lots of kisses!

Evan couldn't look anymore like Jen if he tried!

This was the second time Cam had ever seen fireworks. The first time was at Luc's house last year and he seemed to enjoy them. This year, he was a little scared at first and wanted me to hold him and kept trying to fold his hands and "pray" so he could go to bed.

During the week, we had Hunter one day. Cameron and I had so much fun playing with him. The boys like to hold hands while they eat and sometimes take baths together. I think we all slept good that night!

We spent the entire day Friday in B-town eating food and spending time with Jake's family. There was a massive parade (just teasing) but we did get a ton of candy! Cameron and Evan got to watch this together and they both seemed to like the dalmation dog!

At night, there was a band in the park and enjoyed listening to them while we waited for the fireworks. It was a blue-grass band and they sounded pretty good. Jake's dad told me that he made a special request and we were excited to see what it was. He had them play "Home Grown Tomatoes" and dedicated it to ME! They said my name and it was great. It was so fun because it is my blog's namesake.

Evan, Pax, and Cam all enjoyed the fireworks in their own way. Paxon took a great nap in Jodi's sling, Evan was bouncing all over, and Cameron sat in my lap squinting the entire time.

I bet you thought I would be finished by now...........not yet!

Last night we went to the Streator fireworks! We just couldn't get enough. My friend Rachel is home for the week and we couldn't be more excited to see her. It has been 1/2 a year and we love to pick up right where we left off!

Cameron loves Rachel and thinks she is hilarious. They have good times together!

Cameron got one of those glow rings at the fireworks and he was big stuff. His favorite game was to put it on his dad's head.

With the beautiful day today, we took a quick swim and got to play in Great Grandpa L's Model A.

We love to make memories and hope that you are doing the same!
