Progress

I like progress. I like to make it and I like to see it made. Here are a few things that I like to see progress with

  • An empty laundry basket tells me that I did laundry and I don't have to do it again for a couple of days.
  • An empty kitchen sink. I love to get dishes done. It makes me feel like I accomplished something good seeing a clean kitchen.
  • The crops in the field. I drive in the country to get to work. I like to see when the farmers get their crops in. They are making progress.
  • Cameron doing new things every day. It amazes me how he just does something new like he has been doing it forever.
  • Seeing the student I work with at school have a good day. I feel like I am helping him be successful.
  • Learning more about who I am and strengthening my personal relationships.
  • Hearing that the girl I have been tutoring for months in reading is getting a B.
  • Seeing students in the youth group loving God and loving people, with a geniune love.

I like progress. I like the idea of advancing toward something better, something different. Do you like progress?

I like it when the worship team schedule is sent to me, because I know that my team is progressing and I don't have to do everything.
