Jake and I went to the city on Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. It was the perfect day and we had a blast. We went to Millennium Park and saw the bean. It was pretty neat. I got a little dizzy when I went under it. We also had to play in the fountain with all of the kids! Then, we had a quick lunch at Subway. We spent our afternoon at the Shedd Aquarium. I just love fish. It was a great time and there was even a baby beluga whale named Ella. We saw everything from frogs to river otters to sea horses! Then, we ran 4 blocks and through Union Station to catch our train home. We were stuck on the red line for about an hour b/c of a crane that fell through a collapsed road. What is crazy is that we went by this crane right when we got to the city and saw it right after it fell and there were news crews taping it. We found out after we got home and watched the news that our delay was from that silly crane. We went out for a nice dinner and had some ice cream. What a fun day! We came home to a cute little boy!
